Wearing an Orange Shirt on September 30th is meant to recognize the harm done to Residential School students, and show a commitment to the principle that every child matters.

This year we are once again holding a fundraiser for Orange Shirt Day for Woodland Cultural Center.

As you know, last year we donated over $12,000 from the sales of Orange Shirt Day.

This year, I am happy to announce that 100% of sales will be donated to WCC (yes you read that correctly, 100%).

My employer is donating the cost of all raw materials to make the t-shirts.

My HR team is also volunteering to tie dye the t-shirts.

AND, this year I am able to connect with a youth Indigenous artist that helped with the drawing of this year’s print.

Indigenous Artist:  Kianna Powless a 14 year old artist who is Haudenosaunee from Six Nations of the Grand River.  Kianna has been an artist since she could hold a crayon and in the future hopes to pursue a career as a tattoo artist.

You can follow her @kpowlessillustrations

All orders must be submitted by Friday September 23.

We are looking forward for your support.
